This is a project I did for my Digital Media English IV class in which I made a set of movie posters for the book Brave New World. I'm intersted in digital painting so I incorporated that into my project. In these posters, I traced my reference picture before coloring which I normally don't do, but because I was short on time, I thought it would make things go quicker. In the book Brave New World, Soma is an aspect that is mentioned throughout the book so I incorporated that in my posters with the pills and the paint in the background and the sweater logo. In this project, I drew my creative interpratation of what the characters might have looked like and gave each main character their own poster, except for the blue one. In the blue poster, I liked the way the lineart looked so I tried to give it a more simple but striking look. I really enjoyed this project and I hope that I get the chance to do this again in the future.
