In this, I created a graphic of Hoshi from the group Seventeen. I had wanted to make a vector portrait for a while and I was very happy that I could create this. This took me about two weeks to finish completely. To make it, I first traced a general shape outline of Hoshi so I could see map out the colors and shapes that i'd put in later. After the shapes were mapped out I put in the basic colors and then started getting more detailed. I didn't want to put too much detail when I was making this but I didn't want it to be too simple either so I had to find somewhere in between. I also wanted to keep it looking like shapes, instead of rounding corners and making it look smooth. I wanted a polygonal look. I feel like my weak point in this is the blending of the colors. With shapes, it's hard to blend the colors together because of the hard lines so I did the best I could. This is one of my favorite projects and i'd love to make more!
